In my lifetime a subject has come up recently that I personally believe to be false. That subject is ‘Man Caused Global Warming’. This is a topic I wake up to every day, people ralling against companies because they pollute. This Topic of global warming is every were no matter were you go this will follow you. Personally I think that it is only a made up story for a political movement for Al Gore, (like his story about him inventing the internet.) But I will let you decide when you see the other side of the story.
There is no doubt that the Earth’s average temperature has been increasing over the last couple of years, but when the environment activists start blaming it on the CO2 emissions from cars and factories I have a hard time to believe what they’re saying. You can’t take an open system like the earth and take on variable among many to come to a scientific conclusion; you just cannot do that there are other variables involved with the Earths average temperature going up, such as solar activity which has been confirmed to make changes in our weather patterns, and last time I checked solar activity is not in our control. Another variable is change in plant coverage, ground level Ozone, changes in particles from the sun, Genetic changes in ocean algae. These are some of many variables that count in the earths Open System, so an increase in global temperature could possibly be from some natural source. Just last year a scientific study tried to see if the amount of cow farts has mad a difference.
The other fact is that if you pay close attention to Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth, you will notice his chart with the ‘history of CO2 levels’ on there, look closely at the dates, every time there is a spike in the CO2 level there happens to also be a spike in human population. So if humans are the cause of CO2 levels increasing you can blame it on the new medicines and such, making people live longer and breathing longer, and as we all have learned from 6th grade science class when you exhale you release CO2 into the air. So a solution to that would be nuclear holocaust to eliminate the entire earth population. YEY Al Gore.
One of my last statements is from an article from xtronics.com/reference/globalwarming. On page four of their ten page report about the facts being against global warming they kindly give us a paragraph sating that there is only a 50% that global warming and CO2 levels both increasing have any relation to one another, to some it my be wow 50% that’s a high chance but to others it is like 50% that’s not enough to convince me. I currently have to agree with the latter. The article also states this “If we include proxy measurements, ice core samples- they have CO2 lacking in temperature not increasing it.” Oh just so happens to be something left out of the AGW rhetoric.
This is just a sample of all the information that you can find out there on the political theory (not scientific) of global warming. As we have seen from Open systems with complicating variables, to odds that global warming and CO2 are related, we can tell that statistical data does NOT support man caused global warming and scientific data DOES not man caused global warming.

The only way to have real success in science is to describe the evidence very carefully without regard to the way you feel it should be. If you have a theory, you must try to explin what’s good and not good about it equally. In science you learn a kind of standard integrity and honesty. –Richard Feynman (physicist)

Why Are Jews So Smart?

By Lewis Regenstein

The question has intrigued and baffled researchers for centuries. We all know people who defy the stereotype, yet it persists, demanding our attention. It leaves us wondering whether there is validity to the widespread belief that Jews are so much smarter than other people

But there can be little doubt that Jews have for centuries been substantially over-represented in many fields of learning and accomplishment. One must wonder, how could such a tiny, numerically insignificant group produce so many of the world’s smartest, most accomplished, and most influential people?

Jews comprise an amazing number of history’s most important figures, people who have had a profound impact on humanity: the Patriarch Abraham, whose life and teachings are considered sacred by Jews, Christians, and Moslems; Moses, the lawgiver to Jews and Christians; Jesus and his disciple, Paul, who founded and spread Christianity.

Looking back into the 20th century alone, one can clearly see that Jews have played many a key role in shaping the modern world (if not always in a positive way): physicist Albert Einstein; the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud; Communism’s Karl Marx; developers of the polio vaccine Dr’s Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin; and the leading developers of the first atomic bomb, as inspired by Einstein’s theories – among them, Felix Bloch, Niels Bohr, Otto Frisch, Robert Oppenheimer, Leo Szilard, and Edward Teller. Indeed, Jews were so dominant in the field of nuclear physics in Europe throughout the 1930’s that it was often referred to as “Jewish physics.”

There is even some evidence of Elvis’ having Jewish ancestry!

Jews may not be history’s most popular people, but no other group has even come close to matching, proportionally, Jewish abilities and accomplishments. Combined with other commonly perceived Jewish traits such as ambition, curiosity, energy, imagination, and persistence, Jewish intelligence has elevated an incredible number of Jews to the top ranks of various fields.

Consider the following:

~The proportion of Jews with IQ’s of 140 or more is estimated to be about six times the proportion of any other ethnic group.

~ Although Jews constitute only about two-tenths of one percent of the world’s population, Jews won 29 percent of the Nobel Prizes in literature, medicine, physics and chemistry in the second half of the 20th century. So far this century, the figure is 32 percent. And these Jews of whom we speak were almost exclusively male Jews primarily of western European ancestry (less than one-tenth of one percent of the world’s population), in spite of pervasive discrimination, numerous legal barriers, frequent persecution, and the Holocaust.

~From 1870 until 1950, Jewish leadership in such fields as literature, music, visual arts, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and philosophy equaled somewhere from four to fourteen times the Jewish proportion of the population in Europe and North America.

~In 1954, 28 children in the New York City public school system were found to have IQ’s of 170 or higher – 24 of these were Jewish.

And, of course, the extraordinarily high proportion of Jews in such fields as medicine, law, finance, literature, science, creative arts and the media is as obvious as it is astonishing. To some, these facts are awkward and even embarrassing, feeding stereotypes of “crafty” and “clever” Jews good at making money and flaunting their superiority to non-Jews. Indeed, the subject – the fact, if you will now allow — of Jewish intellectual superiority is rarely if ever discussed in Jewish publications.

To explain this, we have a self-described “Scots-Irish gentile from Iowa,” Charles Murray of the American Enterprise Institute, author of the solidly documented “The Bell Curve”, which in 1994 stirred up a storm of controversy by discussing in not always politically correct language “differences in intellectual capacity among people and groups, and what those differences mean for America’s future.”

Murray has recently written a brilliant and convincing essay for the respected Jewish publication “Commentary,” on “Jewish Genius,” citing many of the above facts and material on which this article is based . This is the first time the magazine has systematically discussed this normally taboo topic that so many Jews are reluctant publicly to acknowledge.

Murray observes that the two most influential works of literature ever were written by and about Jews: the Hebrew and the Christian bibles, the so-called Old and New Testaments, and he goes on to cite numerous other examples of what can only be called Jewish intellectual supremacy.

Murray argues persuasively that “elevated Jewish intelligence is grounded in genetics” rather than being environmentally caused (by such factors as having books in the home), and that it is ‘substantially heritable.” And Jews, especially the Ashkenazim of central and western Europe, have been engaging for centuries in what basically amounts to selective mating and merging genes to produce children of high intelligence.

The Talmud (Pesahim 49a) says that “A man should sell all he possesses in order to marry the daughter of a scholar, as well as marry his daughter to a scholar.” In the Jewish community of the Middle Ages, the smartest men often became rabbis, and these learned men of high status were able to marry the daughters of successful merchants, thus “selecting” in favor of high intelligence.

At the same time, Christians were doing just the opposite: priests and monks of the dominant Roman Catholic Church – also usually among the best and brightest in their communities– were prohibited from marrying, thus “selecting out” through celibacy most of these intellectually superior men from the gene pool.

Murray also observes that “Sephardi Jews rose to distinction in many of the countries where they settled. Some economic historians have traced the decline of Spain after 1500 [following the expulsion of the Jews], and the subsequent rise of the Netherlands, in part to the Sephardi commercial talent that was transferred from one to the other.”

Murray’s scholarly and extensively documented article cites many other reasons for Jewish intellectual superiority in verbal and reasoning skills, including two crucial factors, which are often overlooked.

The most important of these can be found in an article entitled, “Jewish Occupational Selection,” and written by two scholars, Maristella Botticini and Zvi Eckstein. They focus on a decree issued in 64 C.E. by the martyred sage Joshua ben Gamla, high priest in the last years of the Second Temple, requiring that all males be enrolled in school by age six. The ordinance was largely adhered to, and, in the words of Murray, “Within about a century, the Jews, uniquely among the peoples of the world, had effectively established universal male literacy and numeracy.”

Moreover, throughout the centuries, Jewish males have had to study and learn the law, a process one never completes, and to read –often aloud in public — in order to practice their faith and teach their children. Murray speculates that many Jews of low intelligence, who could not read well or fulfill the intellectual demands of their religion, tended to drift away from it.

Murray also cites a thesis of the geneticist Cyril Darlington, arguing that Jews were “decisively shaped much earlier,” during the period of the fall of Jerusalem and captivity under Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar in 586 B.C.E. According to the Bible (2 Kings 24:10-14), only the elite among the Israelites were taken to Babylon, leaving behind the unskilled and presumably less intelligent. The king “carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour… and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.”

By the time the Israelites returned more than a century later, many of those who had remained had been killed off or had married foreigners and been absorbed by other peoples. The returned exiles reconstituted a Jewish community comprised largely of descendants of its most intelligent members. Ever since, practicing Jews have continued to try to perpetuate their “ethnic purity,” usually marrying within their own group, and resisting intermarriage with and assimilation by their neighbors.

But, still not satisfied by the evidence he so impressively presents, Murray continues to wonder about the intellectual prowess demonstrated from the very beginning by the Jewish people. “Why should one particular tribe at the time of Moses, living in the same environment as other nomadic and agricultural peoples of the Middle East, have already evolved elevated intelligence when others did not?”

The answer, speculates Murray, may be his “happily irrefutable’ hypothesis, drawn from the Jews’ earliest and most famous literary work: “The Jews are God’s chosen people.”

——————————————————————————–

Obama may have only been in the Senate for a few years, but why does Sarah Palin LIE in her convention speech that Obama has not authored “a single major law or even a reform” when that is complete falsehood?

I get that she is trying to detract from her own thin record as mayor of Wasilla (pop. 6000), but why does she LIE so much? Doesn’t that bother any Republicans?

Here is a summary of Obama’s record:

Co-sponsored with Richard Lugar (R-IN) legislation funding the destruction or securing of “loose” nuclear weapons in other countries. This was a major piece of nonproliferation legislation.

Co-sponsored, again with Lugar, the first federal bill dedicated to pandemic flu preparedness, including vaccine research and antiviral stockpiling, in addition to state and local planning and preparedness measures.

Sponsored a bill regulating genetic testing, which directed the government to develop special proficiency tests for labs that do genetics work.

Co-sponsored, with Hillary Clinton(!), legislation to help hospitals to develop programs for disclosure of medical errors They even co-wrote an article for the New England Journal of Medicine on the subject.
Introduced his “health care for hybrids” bill, an energy security bill, various bills on relief for Hurricane Katrina (including aid for kids and a ban on no-bid contracts by FEMA)

Introduced legislation, which passed, to create a public database of all federal spending and contracts

Introduced legislation trying to raise CAFE standards, i.e. mileage standards for US-produced vehicles

Introduced veteran’s health care legislation
Introduced legislation making certain kinds of voter intimidation illegal
Introduced a lobbying reform bill

Introduced legislation to revamps ethics oversight, replacing the present Congressional ethics committee with a bipartisan commission of retired judges and members of Congress, and allowing any citizen to report ethics violations.

Introduced legislation to suspend and repeal certain tax incentives for the oil and gas industry

Introduced a joint resolution clarifying that the use of force against Iran is not authorized by the AUMF Against Iraq, or any other resolution previously adopted

Introduced a bill to provide housing assistance for very low-income veterans

Introduced a bill to amend the Clean Air Act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation fuel sold in the US

Introduced a bill to authorize the National Science Foundation to establish a Climate Change Education Program

Introduced a bill to required accountability for contractors and contract personnel (e.g. Blackwater) under federal contracts

Introduced a bill to require the President to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the U.S. foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, and the elimination of extreme global poverty

I’m not trying to impress you with Obama’s record, I KNOW he has only been in the Senate for two years.

I’m asking you why Palin keeps LYING about things?
She has been telling a lot of untruths about many things. I thought Republicans valued “character”?
Thanks for answering my question Dalan 1. That pretty much sums up the Republican thought process on this subject.

The American Spectator

We’ve Figured Him Out

Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed?

Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths:

The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.

They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.

They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a “community organizer,” Illinois state legislator, and Senator.

The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.

Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East, way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future.

The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill — a great idea in theory — was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way an effort to help all Americans.

Now, Americans are waking up to the truth that ObamaCare basically means that every time you are sick or injured, you will have a clerk from the Department of Motor Vehicles telling your doctor what he can and cannot do.

The American people already know that Mr. Obama’s plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never will be — a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society. Either the costs go up or the free society goes away.

These are perilous times. Mrs. Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, has given Iran the go-ahead to have nuclear weapons, an unqualified betrayal of the nation. Now, we face a devastating loss of freedom at home in health care. It will be joined by controls on our lives to “protect us” from global warming, itself largely a fraud if believed to be caused by man.

Mr. Obama knows Americans are getting wise and will stop him if he delays at all in taking away our freedoms.

There is his urgency and our opportunity. Once freedom is lost, America is lost. Wake up, beloved America.

Ben Stein is a writer, actor, economist, and lawyer living in Beverly Hills and Malibu. He writes “Ben Stein’s Diary” for every issue of The American Spectator.

Friends and Colleagues,

Let’s look at the situation of the world today:
Iraq was attacked under the false pretext of uncovering weapons of mass destruction and overthrowing a dictator. The dictator is toppled and WMDs are not uncovered. A democratic government is established by the votes of the people but, after 6 years, the occupiers are still there. They insist on imposing colonial agreements on the people of Iraq by keeping them under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter. Millions of people have been killed or displaced, and the occupiers, without a sense of shame, are still seeking to solidify their position in the political geography of the region and to dominate oil resources.
They have no respect for the people of Iraq and disregard any dignity, rights or status for them. The UN is not capable enough to solve the problems and to remove aggression, occupation and imposition.
In Palestine, 60 years of carnage and invasion is still ongoing at the hands of some criminal and occupying Zionists. They have forged a regime through collecting people from various parts of the world and bringing them to other people’s land by displacing, detaining, and killing the true owners of that land.
With advance notice, they invade, assassinate, and maintain food and medicine blockades, while some hegemonic and bullying powers support them. The Security Council cannot do anything and sometimes, under pressure from a few bullying powers, even paves the way for supporting these Zionist murderers. It is natural that some UN resolutions that have addressed the plight of the Palestinian people have been relegated to the archives unnoticed.
In Afghanistan, production of narcotics has multiplied since the presence of NATO forces. Domestic conflicts continue. Terrorism is spreading. And innocent people are bombarded on a daily basis in streets, markets, schools and wedding ceremonies. The people of Afghanistan are the victims of the willingness of NATO member states to dominate the regions surrounding India, China, and South Asia. The Security Council cannot do anything about it because some of these NATO members also happen to be the major decision makers in the Security Council.
In Africa, efforts are made to reestablish the relationships of the colonial era. By starting civil wars in large countries including Sudan, disintegration of those countries is planned in order to serve the interests of some corrupt powers. In case there is a national resistance, the leaders of the resistance are put under pressure by legal mechanisms created by the very same powers.
In Latin America, people find their security, national interests and cultures to be seriously endangered by the menacing shadow of alien domineering governments, and even by the embassies of some empires.
The lives, properties and rights of the people of Georgia and Ossetia and Abkhazia are victims of the tendencies and provocations of NATO and certain western powers, and the underhanded actions of the Zionists.
The never-ending arms race and the proliferation and stockpiling of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction and the threats to use them, and the establishment of missile defense systems, have made the situation unstable.

Dear Lew, the Honorable Ron Paul?s piece
<http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul331.html> on why Americans are
angry really stirred me to respond. Mr. Paul?s piece speaks about many
issues facing Americans today.

I am a 51-year-old woman. I have been married to the same man since
1976. I am the secretary/office manager for a small legal firm in the
D.C. suburbs. My husband manages a wine and spirits store. I have two
sons, aged 26 and 22. After realizing it wasn?t possible to support
themselves and the government at the same time, both returned to the
nuclear nest. Along with most people in my economic situation, I believe
I am living what is supposed to be the American dream. I know why I am
an angry American. I am frightened because America isn?t the same
country it was when I was my children?s age. Allow me to share with you
some of the reasons why I am an angry American.

I am angry because my government has been taken over by liars, thieves,
thugs, deviants, and micromanagers. The propaganda it produces rivals
that of the most fascist dictatorship.

I am angry that my government perceives my intelligence to be that of a
jar of pickles incapable of making the smallest decision.

I am angry that my government takes it upon itself to shove its clucking
nose into my pantry, medicine chest, bedroom, family room, doctor?s
office, workplace, and everywhere else it thinks I need guidance to keep
me safe from myself.

I am angry that the will of the American people is ignored on every
issue imaginable. If voting really mattered, it would have been outlawed
long ago.

I am angry that I am called a conspiracy theorist because I dare to
think on my own and question authority and its lies.

I am angry that the more I read about 9-11 the more it looks like an
inside job that was allowed to happen, enabling the Patriot Act to be
conveniently enacted into law with the ensuing “war on terrah” following
closely on its heels.

I am angry that the evil puppets in power think laws are created for the
peon masses and it is their right to ignore the ones that get in the way
of their agenda.

I am angry that the media has sold its soul to the evil forces running
the world.

I am angry that my “leaders” have taken to calling my country the
“homeland.” It reeks of socialism.

I am angry that my government has invaded yet another sovereign nation
and caused untold death and destruction based on a flimsy lie. I am
expected to believe that weapons of mass destruction threatened my
freedom and then I am told several years and billions of squandered
dollars later that a massive intelligence network got the wrong
information. A select group of businesses profit enormously from war.
When Bush announced his intention to save Iraq from itself and that its
oil would pay for the overthrow of Hussein, I laughed so hard I nearly
choked. I remember the instability in the Middle East during the 1970s
and the gas “shortages” that followed. I knew which direction gas prices
would go. How stupid does Mr. Bush and his cronies think I am?

I am angry that the world stands silently by while my government bombs
foreign lands with weapons containing depleted uranium and the news
magazines wonder on their front covers why lung cancer has increased
six-fold in the last year.

I am angry that Americans accept as gospel the propaganda that is
routinely cranked out of the Washington lie machine. The lies become
more transparent and brazen with each passing year, yet the only thing
that seems to matter in living rooms across America is who will be the
next American Idol.

I am angry that I am punished with high energy and gas prices and the
resulting inflation because tree-hugging terrorists masquerading as
environmentalists have handcuffed my country?s ability to produce its
own energy. It would be easy to tell the Middle East what to do with
their oil if restrictions on exploration and production were lifted in
our own backyard.

I am angry that I am constantly admonished by minimalists for being a
greedy consumer because I live where I choose, drive the vehicle of my
choice, eat meat, and use tin foil to cover my leftovers.

I am angry that my life doesn?t belong to me anymore.

I am angry that I am required to obtain permission, fill out mandated
paperwork in quadruplicate, and obtain the correct license or permit for
just about everything imaginable. The tentacles of government are
strangling my freedom, choice, and privacy at an alarming rate. The
wrath of the machine is a constant threat should I dare do anything
without leaving a neon paper trail and of course ignorance of the law is
never an excuse.

I am angry that property rights are a thing of the past thanks to
court-approved eminent domain theft.

I am angry that the Constitution is routinely declared irrelevant making
it easier for a fascist police state and new world order to take over.

I am angry that legislation is in the works that will require me to
carry “papers” to “prove” who I am. Another coming law I will ignore.

I am angry that my right to own and carry a firearm is drastically
regulated and restricted.

I am angry every time I see a young person detained on the side of the
road while cops paw through their possessions looking for anything that
could enable them to be arrested and dragged through the criminal
justice system. This has become so commonplace it is now the accepted norm.

I am angry that roadblocks are set up under the guise of keeping roads
free of drunk drivers. What has happened to my right to travel freely?
Why am I presumed guilty without probable cause? I am afraid to have a
few drinks when I go out to dinner for fear I will be pulled over and
end up in court-ordered drug rehabilitation.

I am angry when I read stories of Americans terrorized in airports and
treated like common criminals by government minions after they have paid
for the right to travel within a private system, yet pilots are blocked
from carrying firearms.

I am angry that America has become a nation of busybodies. We are
constantly bombarded with messages to be on the lookout for terrorists
around every corner, report “suspicious activity,” and rat on our
neighbor whenever the opportunity presents itself. Is this not how the
Nazis gained control of Germany and then most of Europe?

I am angry that the government requires me to sign a form every time I
purchase a prescription. Whose business is it that I choose to take a
thyroid medication, an antibiotic, a painkiller, an appetite
suppressant, or any other substance? Am I dying of cancer? Am I facing
debilitating chronic pain? Do I simply want to get HIGH? Heaven forbid
someone out there might get their hands on something that might make
them FEEL GOOD! No substance should be illegal or unobtainable. If a
person wishes to self-medicate, that is their right. The government
should not be in the business of criminalizing personal choices of any
kind as long as those choices don?t infringe on another?s rights.

I am angry that my government meddles in the lives of people all over
the world but looks the other way on the catastrophic issue of what to
do about the millions of illegals who have crashed the gates of this
nation. My country?s laws are ignored and mocked, yet I am told I must
accept with open arms those who are here illegally. My taxes are used to
educate their children in their native language. Hospitals are overrun
with indigent people seeking medical care. Untaxed dollars earned in the
underground economy are sent to the family back home while social
services here are stretched to the limit. I read job want ads stating if
you aren?t bilingual don?t bother to apply. What would happen to me if I
placed an ad that said don?t bother to apply if your English isn?t
understandable? Marches are conducted in my cities? streets waving their
countries? flags as they shamelessly demand their “rights.” I am told
they deserve the same opportunities that brought my forefathers here. I
am scolded that it is un-American to ask why they are not sent home. I
am told that the term “illegal alien” offends them and that they prefer
to be called “undocumented workers” and that my economy would die
without them. I will happily pay more for fruits and vegetables if it
means enforcing sensible immigration laws. But immigration isn?t about
the cost of lettuce. It is another facet of an agenda that is bent on
changing the face of America. When America is no longer a wealthy
country of white European descent, it will be a place worse than
anything Orwell could have imagined.

I am angry that my country is the only nation on earth who declares that
a baby born on its soil is automatically an American citizen.

I am angry that the thugs that run my country don?t have the guts to
declare English my nation?s official language.

I am angry that I have to search a package for English and push a button
on every telephone system and ATM machine to continue in English.

I am angry that Washington, D.C.?s Metro is now being pressured to
replace every station sign with bilingual verbiage to the tune of
millions of dollars. Are bilingual road signs going to be the next
mandated law of the land? I am currently forced to pay for voting
ballots printed in 15 different languages and my tax dollars pay for
interpreter services for people who are summoned to court for breaking
laws. If English is the international language of the world, why isn?t
it good enough to be the official language of the United States?

I am angry when I am told I am a bigot when I thumb my nose at political
correctness.

I am angry when I wonder whether an expressed belief or opinion could
land me in litigation if someone doesn?t like what I said and wants to
silence my voice.

I am angry that diversity and sensitivity training is being forced on
people whose only crime is to dare to speak freely.

I am angry that the symbols, customs, and roots of my Judeo-Christian
country are being systematically outlawed because my culture offends
newcomers. When we freely choose to go somewhere, are we not accepting
the customs and cultures of that place? I am weary of being made to feel
guilty for being an American.

And finally, I am angry that after working my entire adult life, I don?t
see retirement in my life?s picture. My husband and I earn over a
hundred thousand dollars a year, but by the time we pay federal taxes,
state taxes, social security taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, excise
taxes, energy taxes, telecommunication taxes, savings taxes, fees,
permits, etc., there isn?t much left. But please don?t think that I mind
supporting every deadbeat and down-and-outer with his hand out for a
piece of my pie that I worked so hard for. I love supporting the world.
After all, it?s the American way, isn?t it?

last week, my newspaper had, on its main page, a story about “old” uranium having been given, by us, to all different sorts of countries in the world. now, per the article, we are offering to “trade” to get it back by “replacing it with a safer form.” so:

what is the point of giving ANY type of uranium to ANY other country?

what type was given to other countries?

why was it given to other countries?

what did we get in return?

why are we offering now to trade it back, telling these governements that it is not “safe,” but that we will trade it back to us by giving them “safer” forms?

what are safer forms of uranium? uranium is uranium! yes, the uranium that has to be used to make nuclear warheads has to be U235, which must be MADE. (telling me exactly how it gets made by reducting U238 will give you more of a chance at best answer).

i don’t agree that ANY uranium should be given to ANY COUNTRY. why don’t we just provide food, medicine, clothing, shoes?

Well, if you have made it into the 35 plus club you can testify to having travelled a journey. Most of us have probably experienced multiple jobs, have married and created the nuclear 2.3 child family. Yet what is it for the majority of males that they feel a sense of emptiness or seem like we are lacking some major gratification?

You can argue that the imminent big 40 is now fast approaching and we are yet to accomplish something in excess of our current position. Well back the truck up, you are a long time dead. With advances in technology and medicine chances are you’re not even at the half way mark in this game we call life.

The most common trait in the typical 35+ males life is the belief of not having locked away the dream career, or more popular still deciding if you have enough courage to step into self employment. For those seeking independence and a truly rewarding lifestyle, this can conceivably be one of life’s biggest challenges. I am often a magnet for this male demographic who open up to this state of confusion in there life, with me.

To break this down further is to explore the two biggest human motives we encounter in life, and make no mistake macho men; these two emotions are fear and love. Nearly every human driving force is derived from these two emotional factors. How you may ask?

When we are motivated by fear and contrary to belief we use security and stability, which are outcomes of our actions, these can best be described as being in a fear based emotion. Turn the tables and be in an environment of happiness, support and caring for others, and you feel the presence of love.

So when you cannot face a life changing experience know that any excuses or objections are fuelled by fear. So why do we fear the future? Because we have had 35+ years of good or bad judgement to sway our decision making process. So when we step out of our comfort zone our sub conscious mind or our library of historical events and experiences, throws up a red light warning us of a failed comparable time.

Psychologists have estimated that our emotive fears or worries result in 87% of concerns never coming to fruition, yet we continue to be critical of hope or a better way of life. The founder of McDonalds restaurants Ray Kroc was quoted in saying if you are not prepared to take a risk, then get the hell out of business. Life really is no different we were put on this earth to encounter challenges and real problems. How boring would life be if it was that predictable you did not bother to take a chance?

Let us take a look at dreams and what they can mean and how you extract the wisdom. Take solace in finding and dedicating some quiet time for you. In today’s modern world of equal rights and share, a lot of us are now committing more time to the household family experience than ever before.

Our fathers worked their bodies to the core and more often than not left the family chores and upbringing of kids to their wives. Today as life becomes more technically advanced we are finding new ways to look busy in our newly created free time. So back to you, work out when is your best time in the day or week for some selfish me time.

What to do with this time is ponder, meditate or whatever takes your fancy. Then focus on what brings you alive, that feeling of I am invincible, or when you sense that sensation of joy. For some it might be going on holidays, or taking a test drive of your dream car or you may have an underlying passion or hobby, that simply needs exploiting. You will know it by what I like to call that good gut feeling when you know you cannot fail. Once you have identified what it is for you in that feel good moment, apply that to your dedicated time of reflection.

It will be in this reflection that you will start to unearth your life purpose. Some may say I have been on a mission in search of my purpose for some time, yet I have not unearthed it. This is common and not a time to beat your self up. Yes it can be harder to take risks when you have the responsibility of family and commitments. Though give yourself the privilege of at least acknowledging what makes you happy. Not all of us get to do what we love as a career, so allow the possibility there is scope to at least get a taste for it.

To draw the ultimate comparison is to ask your self what I would do if I knew I couldn’t fail. Let these ideas flow, perhaps put pen to paper to capture these thoughts. Now most of these thoughts will not be new, there will be events, people and places where you have enjoyed that feel good experience. Another way of identifying what you need to do is relate to a time where things were falling into place and you were on a high, there will be some point in life that you can reflect upon.

We can easily expand upon the many techniques to identify where you are at in your life, and those techniques can be shared by simply visiting the author of this article, and requesting more information on unlocking your purpose. Remember you are not alone so continue to communicate with other like minded 35 plus males that exhibit a positive mental attitude, if you attract the doom and gloom people you get just that. Rest assured life need not be difficult it is us that make it hard.

Make today the first day of the rest of your life.
