1. Eradication of cancer as we know it, using sound waves, photo sensitive drug therapy, and “self-addicting” cells.
2. Robotic houses, controlled by computerized switchboard.
3. Electrical cars with flotation ability for water travel to bypass freeways.
4. Houses made from pressed paper with plastic coatings; interchangeable walls
5. Separate body parts cloned for organ transplants; not an entire body.
6. New form of painless tooth extraction, using a type of suction, with immediate replacement of new tooth.
7. Diagnostic chambers which map the body’s electrical balance to predict health problems before the come.
8. Cylindrical rooms in which people enter to see an automated projection of the clothing and color that would look good on them; select what you want, take your measurements, then two days later pick up the goods.
9. Third floor of houses have rollback roofs to allow Hovercrafts to come and go.
10. No more surgery with knives. Some type of molecular ionization device that knows how to take out the afflicted cells then seal the wound without a single scar.
11. Remolding of the whole face structure, to duplicate any look that you wish.
12. New exercise equipment that you sit or stand in, and it literally stimulates your muscles with electricity to achieve the same effect as physical exercise.
13. Babies will be birthed in water all the time, with music, incense, and green and lavender lights.
14. People will be able to simply “walk out” of their bodies upon death.
15. There will be no US Presidency; our government will go back to a Greek Senate structure.
16. No longer a single Pope, but a triumvirate of Popes, each assigned to a geographic collection of Catholics.
17. Peace in the Middle East will prevail by 2050.
18. West Coast goes under in 2026. Parts of the East Coast also get inundated. Tsunamis will wipe out a large portion of Japan. The Hawaiian Islands will have upheaval and be the site of a large new landmass.
19. Atlantis will begin to show itself by 2023 and be fully visible by 2026.
20. After 2050, the “Age of the Messiah” is upon us. People turn totally toward Spirituality, peace will rein for a long time. People will return to community living, loving each other, and working together.
21. Treatment for depression and mood disorders will come from a “control chamber” that emits sensory stimulation gently to the brain, including certain smells, which will elevate mood.
22. Medicine in pill form goes away; instead we have air-injected delivery through the skin.
23. Atomic batteries will run cars.
24. No more gas propelled rockets in space; we will have nuclear powered cylinder shaped objects that travel everywhere.
25. A moon base is created for people to visit, and as a stopping place for further trips.
26. By 2055 most people will live in domed cities due to poor atmospheric conditions.
27. A virtual reality headset will stimulate brain waves so people can learn whole libraries of information within hours.
28. Giant fruits and vegetables will be grown in hothouse environments. The nutrients will be synthesized into a highly condensed injection.
29. Proteins are developed without animal meat, very powerful, builds immune system.
30. Addictions will be a thing of the past because of a brain stimulation, which eradicates all addictions, with no side effects.
31. Execution for the death penalty will become a complete vaporization of the body.
32. No separate governments, one planetary government will form.
33. Great earth changes will occur and germ warfare will be used before the world finds peace. But eventually from all of the bad comes good. The pendulum will swing back to humanity and love.
34. No world war is coming, but lots of civil disorder and small skirmishes. No nuclear holocaust.
35. Peace will last from 2050 until 2100, and then I see nothing beyond, which could mean “the end will come like a thief in the night.”
36. Toward the end of things, the veil separating our world from The Other Side will thin, so much so that most people will see decease loved ones and speak with their Spirit Guides.
37. There will be many false prophets that rise up proclaiming to be Jesus on Earth, and try to lead people astray. We are already seeing this in the big rise of occultism.
38. People will again find Spirituality, not so much in organized religion, but in the spiritual brotherhood of coming together and finding their Temple within.
39. Four more comets will pass by before the end times.
40. Aliens will begin to show themselves in the year 2010, they will not harm us, they simply want to see what we are doing to this planet. They will teach us how to use anti-gravity devices again, such as they did for the pyramids.

Obama may have only been in the Senate for a few years, but why does Sarah Palin LIE in her convention speech that Obama has not authored “a single major law or even a reform” when that is complete falsehood?

I get that she is trying to detract from her own thin record as mayor of Wasilla (pop. 6000), but why does she LIE so much? Doesn’t that bother any Republicans?

Here is a summary of Obama’s record:

Co-sponsored with Richard Lugar (R-IN) legislation funding the destruction or securing of “loose” nuclear weapons in other countries. This was a major piece of nonproliferation legislation.

Co-sponsored, again with Lugar, the first federal bill dedicated to pandemic flu preparedness, including vaccine research and antiviral stockpiling, in addition to state and local planning and preparedness measures.

Sponsored a bill regulating genetic testing, which directed the government to develop special proficiency tests for labs that do genetics work.

Co-sponsored, with Hillary Clinton(!), legislation to help hospitals to develop programs for disclosure of medical errors They even co-wrote an article for the New England Journal of Medicine on the subject.
Introduced his “health care for hybrids” bill, an energy security bill, various bills on relief for Hurricane Katrina (including aid for kids and a ban on no-bid contracts by FEMA)

Introduced legislation, which passed, to create a public database of all federal spending and contracts

Introduced legislation trying to raise CAFE standards, i.e. mileage standards for US-produced vehicles

Introduced veteran’s health care legislation
Introduced legislation making certain kinds of voter intimidation illegal
Introduced a lobbying reform bill

Introduced legislation to revamps ethics oversight, replacing the present Congressional ethics committee with a bipartisan commission of retired judges and members of Congress, and allowing any citizen to report ethics violations.

Introduced legislation to suspend and repeal certain tax incentives for the oil and gas industry

Introduced a joint resolution clarifying that the use of force against Iran is not authorized by the AUMF Against Iraq, or any other resolution previously adopted

Introduced a bill to provide housing assistance for very low-income veterans

Introduced a bill to amend the Clean Air Act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation fuel sold in the US

Introduced a bill to authorize the National Science Foundation to establish a Climate Change Education Program

Introduced a bill to required accountability for contractors and contract personnel (e.g. Blackwater) under federal contracts

Introduced a bill to require the President to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the U.S. foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, and the elimination of extreme global poverty

I’m not trying to impress you with Obama’s record, I KNOW he has only been in the Senate for two years.

I’m asking you why Palin keeps LYING about things?
She has been telling a lot of untruths about many things. I thought Republicans valued “character”?
Thanks for answering my question Dalan 1. That pretty much sums up the Republican thought process on this subject.

Do you all agree or disagree with this article? Why or why not?

The American Spectator
July 24, 2009
By Ben Stein

We’ve Figured Him Out

Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed?

Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths:

The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.

They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.

They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a “community organizer,” Illinois state legislator, and Senator.

The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.

Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East, way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future.

The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill — a great idea in theory — was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way an effort to help all Americans.

Now, Americans are waking up to the truth that ObamaCare basically means that every time you are sick or injured, you will have a clerk from the Department of Motor Vehicles telling your doctor what he can and cannot do.

The American people already know that Mr. Obama’s plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never will be — a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society. Either the costs go up or the free society goes away.

These are perilous times. Mrs. Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, has given Iran the go-ahead to have nuclear weapons, an unqualified betrayal of the nation. Now, we face a devastating loss of freedom at home in health care. It will be joined by controls on our lives to “protect us” from global warming, itself largely a fraud if believed to be caused by man.

Mr. Obama knows Americans are getting wise and will stop him if he delays at all in taking away our freedoms.

There is his urgency and our opportunity. Once freedom is lost, America is lost. Wake up, beloved America.

Ben Stein is a writer, actor, economist, and lawyer living in Beverly Hills and Malibu. He writes “Ben Stein’s Diary” for every issue of The American Spectator.

In 2004, 2,100 doctorates were awarded by universities in the US in the fields of mathematical statistics, botany, optics physics, human and animal pathology, zoology, astrophysics, geometry, geophysics and seismology, gen. mathematics, nuclear physics, astronomy, marine sciences, nuclear engineering, polymer and plastics engineering, veterinary medicine, topology, hydrology and water resources, animal nutrition, wildlife/range management, number theory, fisheries science and management, atmospheric dynamics, engineering physics, paleontology, plant physiology, general atmospheric science, mathematical operations research, endocrinology, metallurgical engineering, meteorology, ocean engineering, stratigraphy and sedimentation, polymer physics, acoustics, mineralogy and petrology, bacteriology, logic, animal breeding and genetics, computing theory and practice, and mining and mineral engineering. Not one of these 2,100 doctoral degrees went to an African American.
ORiginal article: http://www.jbhe.com/latest/122905_statistical_shocker2005.html
Mr. Jessup. Jessica, and WstCotter are apparently out ofotheir league concernining this topic. Suigeneris, your black instructors make me question the validity of your own education. Despite being a grad student, you still don’t get the point.
This question leads me to part 2: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,301722,00.html
Duck_foo, ol’ buddy! Notice how Education was NOT among the degrees listed? Read the freakin’ article.
I’ll just go ahead and beat the slow wits to the punch: The purpose of this article brings up my third point: Quotas are becoming more important than quality. In the competitive world, can we afford this? —> http://www.washingtontimes.com/article/20071015/FOREIGN/110150107/1003
Let me repeat myself: Those 2100 degrees are those in the ABOVE LISTED topics!!!!!!!!
LOOOOOOOOK.
I am totally aware of the grad degrees awarded to black in Education, Law, Medicine, etc. I don’t think I have faith in 90% of them due to affirmative action.
Another thing, I was NOT the one who came up with this article, it was a black web site.
Mr. Jessup, I’ll gladly answer you.
How many white men receive degrees in African-American Studies, Minority Feminist Conflict Resolution, African Immigrant Psychotherapy, and Diversity Management?

We can soon expect the “Powers that Be” to make it their top priority to award African-Americans with doctorates, regardless of ability, the usual ways e.g., forge more credentials, waive more academic requirements, remove more testing obstacles, etc.).

What I plan to do with it? Well, I was sold on racial diversity as a teen. I now know that it’s a lie. The more people that become racially aware, the less they’ll follow the dogma that is multiculturalism. Eventually, or hopefully, they will actively stop organizations that are slowly destroying this country. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/13/AR2007101300743.html
Straight from your link, Taranto: “41.3 percent of all doctorates awarded to African Americans in 2004 were in the field of education.”
We all know about the quality of schools run by blacks like Priscilla Slade, don’t we? http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5195502.html
So far, not one of you has beaten me in this hollow debate.
