I am about to have a full body nuclear medicine examination with Technetium injection for examination for bone tumor metastasis. My doctor ordered at the same day a ct scan for upper and lower abdomen . The thing is that he had them programmed it in such a way that i will do the ct scan after the technetium injection and before the measurement with the ? camera. On top of that they will give me gastrografin in the ct scan. From what i have read i see a conflict in the 2 examinations. Does anybody know which is the case?
